El Sistema de Protección Social en Colombia y el aporte del Programa Mundial de Alimentos para su mejora: población migrante en situación de vulnerabilidad y su ingreso al sistema

Abstract

This document corresponds to the Capstone Project between Universidad del Rosario and the World Food Program (WFP). It seeks to provide the characterization of the Venezuelan migrants that are part of the Social Protection System through the Identification System of Potential Beneficiaries of Social Programs (SISBEN). The characterization facilitates the understanding of the Venezuelan migrants beneficiaries' needs and the host community's needs as well, in the framework of the WFP's Institutional Capacity Expansion Project carried out in the first half of 2022. At last, several public policy recommendations were proposed in the document to make an effective integration of the Venezuelan migrant population in the Social Protection System in Colombia.
