Resumen
This study aims at investigating the Brazilian pedagogical context of bilingual schools and international schools, focusing on the main similarities and differences in weighing its comparing their proposal, structure, curriculum and faculty. To do so, issues relevant to the context, such as concept of bilingualism and other characteristics of a multilingual in relation to monolingual settings, will be addressed, as well as aspects of the policies of these schools. In addition to the documental research, a questionnaire was applied in order to map out people's knowledge on the subject as well as their objectives in choosing these educational models.
