Resumen
This work has as its theme Environmental Education, focused on the teaching and learning process with its values based on human and social formation, of individual and collective responsibility. The objective was to propose a didactic sequence with a board-type game, and a trail with question cards related to sustainability principles, and the colors of garbage collectors to promote awareness of environmental education, through playfulness in the teaching-learning process in elementary education. The methodology adopted was that of literary research, scientific articles and literature reviews on the chosen theme. The didactic sequence proposal elaborated in this work is to be developed in the period of five classes, between conversations about the students' previous knowledge, visits to recycling / collector locations, computer research classes and board games or more activities in case new ones arise. adaptations, and the final survey aiming to reveal the students' conceptions after practice. The activities of AE developed in elementary school through games, can form adults who are aware, active and concerned with the environment, and who will disseminate these values throughout their lives.
