dc.description.abstractPopulation growth and its sprawl has led to increasing demand for products of animal and plant capable of meeting the needs of this population origin. Consequently, large areas of land must be used for this purpose, and the inadequate management has been responsible for the significant increase of degraded areas in different regions of the world. In this sense an alternative to recovery is reforestation with native tree species. Considering the above, this study aims to assess formulated with different alternative substrates, in order to verify the improvement in the development and viability of seedlings treatments. For this, the Municipal Nursery Prefectural Francisco Beltrão, these alternative substrates were tested in seedlings of two native species in the state of Paraná (Cedrela fissilis e Anadenanthera macrocarpa (Benth).Brenan) indicated for use in reclamation. The treatments were: T0:100% substrate, T1: 75% + 25% substrate poultry litter, T2: 50% substrate + 50% poultry litter, T3: 75 % + 25% substrate sewage sludge, T4: 50 substrate + % 50% sewage sludge. In order to verify its effectiveness, the plants in each treatment were evaluated at 30, 60 and 90 days after replanting regarding fitometric parameters: length of root (CR),shoot length (CPA), number of leaves (NL), root dry mass (RDM), dry mass (MSPA), stem diameter(DC), fresh weight (MFPA) and fresh root mass (MFR). In each review the parameters fitometric five seedlings of each species in each treatment, allowing you to check their influence on the viability of the seedlings were analyzed. The use of poultry litter in the nursery was not efficient, since the plants, the T1 and T2, did not survive. Regarding the use of sewage sludge, the same results showed statistically similar at 90 days after replanting, the T0, which used only commercial substrate, showing the possibility of their reuse in producing seedlings of cedar and mimosa.
