A importância do uso da cartografia no ensino da geografia nas séries do ensino fundamental I e II

Abstract

This work had as theme the importance of the cartography teaching in the first and last years of the elementary school. We know that cartography has been part of the geography classes and it’s necessary for the teacher develop methodologies for the cartography study in the class, because the reading and understanding of this maps and thematic maps are indispensable not only for the geography class but for the others too. In this way it’s necessary the cartography use in the geography classes, however many don’t utilize this tools só important for the comprehension for the laterality in the geography orientation. What we intend is point the cartography utility relevance in classes of the first and last elementary years as a means to information decoding correlated to space representation in the geography dynamic.
