Resumen
In this work a discrete-time model for the Pendubot is proposed based on the symplectic Euler method. Then, a discrete-time sliding mode controller and observer are designed. A simulation study is carried on in order to verify the good performance of the proposed modeling and control scheme when compared to the case of using explicit Euler method for discrete-time modeling. MATERIAL AND METHODS: It was elaborated and it validated an instrument to explore the critical reading in their abilities of to interpret and to judge. We studied 572 medical residents of eight units of the Mexican Institute of the Social Security: 292 of the medical area, 227 of the surgical area, 30 of the area of auxiliary in diagnosis and treatment, and 23 of the research area. RESULTS: The median of the qualifications obtained, they were low (considering a theoretical qualification maxim of 100), for the residents of the three areas: medicine with 34, surgical with 30 and auxiliary in diagnosis and treatment with 28.5. For the research area, the aptitude was a medium degree with 49. Of the 572 residents 98 (17.1%) it didn't surpass the limit of the accountable qualifications for a random effect. In the medical area we found a positive differential effect of the time of residence in the aptitude for the critical reading, particularly in the specialty of Internal Medicine. CONCLUSIONS: The development of the aptitude for the critical reading of reports of clinical investigation in general is low, the exception, are the residents in investigation and in certain measure those of internal medicine; in this last one it seems product of an intentional, collective, systematic and progressive exercise.",,"Record Owner: From MEDLINE, a database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine.; Status: MEDLINE; [Spanish]; Publishing Model: Journal available in: Print Citation processed from: Print; NLM Journal Code: sch, 9421552; Entry Date: 20020220",,,,,,"0034-8376; 0034-8376","http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12104/37099","http://ovidsp.ovid.com/ovidweb.cgi?T=JS&CSC=Y&NEWS=N&PAGE=fulltext&D=med4&AN=11795107",,"Spanish",,,,"5",,"Revista de Investigacion Clinica",,"413 421",,"53",,"MEDLINE",,,,"Index Medicus;Adult;Aptitude Tests;Cognition;Female;Humans;Internship and Residency;Judgment;Male;Medicine;Mexico;Physicians/px [Psychology];Reading;Research;Specialization",,,,,,,"Aptitud para la lectura critica de informes de investigaciones clinicas en medicos residentes del IMSS en Jalisco.","[Aptitude for critical reading of clinical research reports among medical residents of the Mexican Social Security Institute in Jalisco]",,"Journal Article"

Although technical skills were developed primarily, it was not until immune reaction to rejection was understood and control of biological variables achieved that transplantation acquired a greater scope. Bioethical performance is currently a challenge. As a human multidisciplinary activity, this is not without bias or skew. Therefore, the social and cultural context in the deontological and bioethical sense acquire the greatest relevance, particularly when values and principles inherent to human life are taken into account along with the complex angles derived from human interactions in the bioethical triangle. CONCLUSIONS: This triangle is represented by the individual requiring an organ, the person who is the donor under specific circumstances, and the individuals who are responsible for procurement, transplantation and evaluation of the validity of this therapeutic option.",,"Record Owner: From MEDLINE, a database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine.; Status: MEDLINE; [Spanish]; Publishing Model: Journal available in: Print Citation processed from: Internet; NLM Journal Code: 0372736, d9g; Entry Date: 20110519",,,,,,"0009-7411; 0009-7411","http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12104/37109","http://ovidsp.ovid.com/ovidweb.cgi?T=JS&CSC=Y&NEWS=N&PAGE=fulltext&D=medc&AN=21167105",,"Spanish",,,,"4",,"Cirugia y cirujanos",,"361 368",,"78",,"MEDLINE",,,,"Index Medicus;Attitude to Health;Brain Death/di [Diagnosis];Cadaver;Culture;History, Ancient;Humans;Mind-Body Relations, Metaphysical;Organ Transplantation/es [Ethics];Organ Transplantation/hi [History];Organ Transplantation/px [Psychology];Social Values;Third-Party Consent;Tissue Donors/es [Ethics];Tissue Donors/px [Psychology];Tissue and Organ Procurement/es [Ethics]",,,,,,,"Triangulo bioetico del trasplante.","[Bioethical triangle of transplants]",,"Journal Article"

Sanchez-Corona, J.",,"2015",,"BACKGROUND: Polycystic ovary syndrome is a complex and heterogeneous disease involving both reproductive and metabolic problems. It has been suggested a genetic predisposition in the etiology of this syndrome. The identification of calpain-10 gene (CAPN10) as the first candidate gene for type 2 diabetes mellitus, has focused the interest in investigating their possible relation with the polycystic ovary syndrome, because this syndrome is associated with hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance, two metabolic abnormalities associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus. OBJECTIVE: To investigate if there is association between the SNP-63 and the variant indel-19 of the CAPN10 gene and polycystic ovary syndrome in women of reproductive age. MATERIAL AND METHODS: This study included 101 women (55 with polycystic ovary syndrome and 46 without polycystic ovary syndrome). The genetic variant indel-19 was identified by electrophoresis of the amplified fragments by PCR, and the SNP-63 by PCR-RFLP. RESULTS: The allele and genotype frequencies of the two variants do not differ significatly between women with polycystic ovary syndrome and control women group. The haplotype 21 (defined by the insertion allele of indel-19 variant and C allele of SNP-63) was found with higher frequency in both study groups, being more frequent in the polycystic ovary syndrome patients group, however, this difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.8353). CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that SNP-63 and indel-19 variant of the CAPN10 gene do not represent a risk factor for polycystic ovary syndrome in our patients group.Copyright ?Zapotitlán 2015.
