Resumen
In the context of International migration, women are the ones who suffer most from the violation of Human Rights. Moreover, for a long time they became invisible in studies of migratory flows, so the view in this process was always from the men. At the international level, humanitarian guidelines on the vulnerability of women have become increasingly relevant. In this way, the Brazilian legal system also incorporates several laws that deal with Human Rights, which contemplates the protection of migrant women. However, in fact, such laws do not guarantee full protection. In this sense, based on data from the Polícia Militar do Estado do Amapá, the existence of migrant women human rights’ violation was verified. Therefore, this research has as general objective to analyze the violations of the Human Rights of migrant women and the performance of the public security agencies in the care of the victims in the state’s territory. To achieve this objective, field surveys and interviews were conducted, in which was possible to obtain information of wide relevance and quantitative data regarding cases of violence against women
