(Re)estruturação e formação do aglomerado urbano de Macapá e Santana na Amazônia Setentrional Amapaense

The cities of Macapá and Santana have a common socio-spatial training; located on the left bank of the mouth of the Amazon River, they developed throughout its intense complementarities history translated into spatial continuities, in other words, the strong spatial interactions present in their urban dynamics. From the 1980s, major political and economic changes affect the Amapá, as the creation of new municipalities, when the Amapá became a state and created a free trade area, in this sense, the urban dynamics of the two cities has been significantly altered by capitalist expansion verified in Northern Amazon Amapaense (ASA). Such dynamics and transformations can be understood considering a Population Urbanization, of Society and Territory, is in this perspective that, from the time frame of the 1980s until the present, intensifies the territorial continuity between the two cities, each time more has its urban dynamics altered by the diffusion of new real estate products, are housing and / or trade and services, so that work has a objective to analyze the production of urban space Macapá and Santana, on the new situation of the resulting urbanization of capitalist expansion (that portion of the Amazon region). The arguments developed in this work on the production of urban Macapá and Santana space are guided by the socio-spatial formation of the two cities, in socio-spatial processes discussed from the general objective of the work is to analyze the production of urban space Macapá and Santana, the spatial distribution of real estate products in transport routes, linking the two cities and urban centers of Macapá and Santana, we this joint. This urban restructuring results of socio-spatial transformations of Macapá and Santana when Amapá became state (1988), consolidating Particleboard Macapá Urban and Santana (AUMS). The work is divided into three chapters, the first analyzes the socio-spatial training Macapá and Santana, the articulation of the two cities through of debate about land rent and the discussion about some socio-spatial processes present in the production of urban space Macapá and Santana; in the second chapter, it proposes to an urban structure, from the proposal to think the urban dynamics of Macapá and Santana a unique perspective in two Urban zonal ( Macapá Urban Center and Santana Urban Center ) and three pivot axes the Urban ( North Axis, Axis South and West Axis ); in the final chapter analyzes the process of urban restructuring from urban and regional transformations inserted in the new context of capitalist expansion in the Amazon; at the end of the chapters are rescued several considerations made during the work, and guided analysis perspectives in reflections and legacy of work
