Resumen
The Institutional Evaluation is an instrument of Higher Education's Evaluation National System with the aim of evaluating institutions of higher education on the quality of its services under three major structures: Evaluation of Higher Education Institutions, Students’ Performance Assessment and Evaluation of Graduating Courses. This paper was prepared in order to evaluate the course of the Executive Secretary of the Federal University of Amapa internally from the perspective of professors and academics of the course, based on the dimensions: Didactic-Pedagogical Organization, the Teachers Staff, Infrastructure and Overview and Trends / Expectations, whose research subjects are themselves professors and students of the course. The theoretical reference was developed through a survey of data by document research in archives and public law and bibliographic research in books, articles and publications in specialized electronic periodic. Then, it was conducted an exploratory study with the students of classes 2008 to 2012 and faculty members, a qualitative and quantitative approach for collecting and analyzing data through document review and field research through questionnaires structured with closed questions and open ones. Finally, it was made the analysis of data, which related the evidence obtained in each dimension in order to identify the features and overview of the course front of the perception of its faculty members and students. Among the results reached up an overview of the opinions of professors and students on the course, recognizing their strengths and defining its limitations
