Abstract

Introduction: Neurodegenerative disorders are strongly associated to excitotoxicity, i.e. neuronal death by pathological stimulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors in susceptible areas of the central nervous system. We postulate that the transcr
