Las discusiones en torno al tema del consentimiento matrimonial en el siglo XII

Abstract

El estudio a través de fuentes permite comprender el papel relevante del consentimiento, y la importancia cultural del matrimonio como institución. Consecuentemente, el papel de la Iglesia y el estudio de fuentes, permite acercarnos a la comprensión real del matrimonio y su fundamento en la voluntariedad y, por lo tanto, en el amor, esclareciendo algunos mitos en torno a la concertación.

A study through medieval sources allows us to understand the relevance of consent, and the cultural importance of marriage as an institution. Consequently, the role of the Church and the study of the sources, allows us to get closer to the real understanding of marriage and its foundation in willfulness and, therefore, in love, clarifying some myths about the agreement.
