Resumen
This master's thesis, presented as a requirement to opt for the Master's degree in Management from the Universidad del Rosario, aims to formulate a set of games that can favor the labor well-being of employees in an organization in the textile sector; Its scope focuses on a component of labor well-being such as taking active breaks while playing and exclusively on the formulation of games for its development. The theoretical framework of the research is articulated around two fundamental concepts. In the first place, the labor well-being in an organization, and in particular a fundamental element: the development of active breaks to reduce the fatigue that occurs as a result of monotonous and repetitive tasks; This will work around the importance of active breaks for job well-being. Second, the concept of play as a central practice in human experience that, articulated with the human capacity for affiliation, can make it possible to create proposals for labor well-being in organizations and for their collaborators. The research essentially follows a qualitative approach. Methodologically, the case study is used. The research field is Camisas XL, a textile sector organization founded 36 years ago. Two information gathering instruments are used: the focus group and the open and in-depth interview. In the development of the process, interventions were made with the games formulated and it was contrasted with a last interview, seeking to build some clues about the importance of playing within the organization. The investigative process consists of three phases: the recognition of the labor well-being of the organization studied; the design of a battery of games that can favor the work well-being of employees and the application of the games; finally, a third phase that accounts for some clues regarding the importance of play in the development of active breaks and in work well-being within the organization. The research work seeks to underline the importance that the game can have in the improvement of various facets of organizational life.
