Propuesta de Intervención - Bien de Interés Cultural Calle 18 No. 4-31 del barrio Veracruz de la ciudad de Bogotá

Abstract

Esta investigación y propuesta de intervención del bien de interés cultural ubicado en la Calle 18 No. 4 – 31 del barrio Veracruz de la ciudad de Bogotá, presenta la aproximación al inmueble que se ha denominado “La Casa”, cuya arquitectura del periodo de la transición (1820-1910) es de escala baja y anónima; caracterizada por su estructura en torno a cuatro patios sucesivos desde la calle hasta el centro de manzana, que se comunican a través de galerías perimetrales con espacios de habitación, unificados por cubierta a cuatro aguas. Por la ubicación y características de La Casa, el estudio hace énfasis en los procesos de consolidación urbana de la parroquia Las Nieves previo a su aparición, así como, la identificación de la posible fecha de construcción sustentada en su evolución que involucra aspectos sociales, urbanos y arquitectónicos; incluyendo el análisis del crecimiento y las transformaciones del contexto urbano que la rodea con condiciones similares en algunos casos y muy disímiles en otros. A partir de ello se otorgaron valores al sector de su implantación y al bien, se realizó el diagnóstico del estado de conservación por medio de la agrupación de lesiones que dan como resultado diferentes mecanismos de daño que lo afectan. Como conclusión se plantean criterios de intervención en tres diferentes escalas, para finalmente proyectar de manera coherente una propuesta de intervención que dé solución a las problemáticas identificadas en las fases de diagnóstico de la escala urbana, la manzana y el bien, como un caso de estudio que refleja las problemáticas del patrimonio que queda inmerso en las dinámicas urbanas del centro tradicional de la ciudad afectando su contexto y muchas veces su permanencia.

This investigation and intervention proposal of the property of cultural interest located on Calle 18 No. 4 - 31 of the Veracruz neighborhood in the city of Bogotá, presents the approach to the property that is called "La Casa", whose architecture from the period of the transition (1820-1910) is a low-scale and anonymous; characterized by its structure around four successive courtyards from the street to the center of the block, which communicate through perimeter galleries with the peripheral or linear spaces installed around them, unified with a hipped roof. Due to the location and characteristics of La Casa, the study emphasizes the urban consolidation processes of the Las Nieves parish prior to its appearance, as well as the identification of the possible date of construction based on its evolution that involves social, urban aspects and architectural; including the analysis of growth and transformations of the urban context that surrounds it with similar conditions in some cases and very dissimilar in others. From this, values were given to the sector of its implantation and to the good, the diagnosis of the state of conservation was made by means of the grouping of injuries that result in different mechanisms of damage that affect it. As a conclusion, intervention criteria are proposed in three different scales, to finally project in a coherent way an intervention proposal that provides a solution to the problems identified in the diagnostic phases of the urban scale, the block and the property, as a case study that reflects the problems of the heritage that remains immersed in the urban dynamics of the traditional center of the city, affecting its context and many times its permanence.
