The physical exercises accompanied by physical educators make all the difference
and, when directed to people with diabetes and hypertension, provide health
improvements for the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, strengthening the
muscles, among other benefits. Any exercise brings improvements, since it is
appropriate to what the body needs. Therefore, it is important that each person
knows how to manage the required weekly amount of exercise. This study aims to
make a theoretical reflection about the importance of physical exercises for people
with chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, if properly guided by a
physical educator. Through the realization of the readings and professional
experience of the author, it was found that, through physical activity, people with
diabetes and hypertension will have psychological as well as physical
improvements, which will be very significant for controlling their health problems.
Well planned training prescription will help to develop the student’s body, within its
genetic capabilities and, in this way, the results will be gratifying. Well oriented
exercises bring no risk provided they are evaluated and prescribed specifically for
diabetic and hypertensive patients.
