The present research aimed to investigate which aspects are components of teacher
identity, to understand how the actions of the manager interferes with the
construction of professional identity. To cope with such issues was a need to further
studies for the construction of the identity of the manager, considering important
factors such as life course, living in groups and continuing education. Due to the
investigative process requires conceptual appropriation of the elements of the
scenario which the problem under investigation belongs, was an essential
quantitative methodological approach, in which studies on the recurrence of the
problem goes mainly to the references on the topic of educational management
teaching and identity. This methodological choice demanded an intense review on
the construction of teacher identity, as it involves teaching the path of life, their
training and the relationships he outlines in his career, which makes it an be active

the area of distance education as an indispensable tool for teacher training, we
