Adolescência e violência: uma abordagem para além do ato infracional

Abstract

This paper addresses the phenomenon of violence in their relationship with adolescence. It is a theoretical study that sought through the path of the construction of concepts of childhood and adolescence show that the phenomenon of violence has always been present throughout history. There were different ways in which violence is presented as alternatives to deal with the problems faced by society. It has been that violence is a phenomenon which disturbs the present society and which has not yet found satisfactory and effective mechanisms of coping. It stands out in the end the concern to avoid reductionist explanations that can easily obscure the understanding of the problem.
