Resumen
The virtual learning environments have the function of mediating the learning teaching process, where the beneficiary is the student / user, which uses the didactic and technological resources provided by the environment. For this to occur in an efficient, interactive and user-friendly manner, the system must present a good level of usability, which in turn is measured by the degree of user satisfaction. The purpose of this work is to measure the usability level of the Virtual Learning Environment - Moodle of the Federal University of Santa Maria, specifically among students enrolled in the Specialization Course in Information Technology and Communication Applied to Education. For this purpose, an evaluation questionnaire was used based on seven ergonomic principles contained in NBR ISO 9241-110 and made available online to the students. Through the results obtained through the collected data were generated statistical data regarding the usability of the interfaces from a student point of view. The results were based on notes attributed to the ergonomic questions related to the system, the profiles of the interviewees were also identified for comparative purposes. The analysis of the data generated satisfactory and negative results on the usability of the environment, a large percentage disapproved and showed discontent with the contextualization of the evaluated items. At the end we verified the project objectives achieved as: to measure, evaluate, relate and verify the usability of AVA in relation to the quality of learning of users / students.
