A hospitalização escolarizada: possibilidades de atenção à aprendizagem infantil em contexto hospitalar

The aim of this study is to make reflection on the schooling in hospital, giving rise to the educational possibilities of attention to childish learning process in the hospital context. In doing so, such reflection focuses on the situation of hospitalized children, who are hindered from attending school because they are in hospital or receive medical treatment. Then it is considered the need of discuss and clearly define the hospital educational service, which is recognized by the law that it is a right of any children. Towards this issue, it is intended to define the hospital class service, which should be assured by hospital pedagogy, as well as the interdisciplinary practices that must exist between the Hospital Pedagogy and the Hospital Psychopedagogy, this latter attempts to the service of learning problems that would appear in the hospital teaching-learning process. In this sense, it is presented a brief recover of possible interfaces between learning and hospital context, bringing reflections upon the educational possibilities of working with learning methods in the hospital, as well as analysing the profits of an interdisciplinary and multiprofessional practice in hospital contexts. It is emphasized the social and political importance of all hospitalized children’s rights in receiving the educational service in hospital class, taking in mind the significance of this act to the realization of the inalienable childhood’s rights.
