La transformación de la política antidrogas de Estados Unidos y su incidencia en la cooperación colombo-estadounidense en la lucha contra las drogas (2010-2014).

Abstract

With the arrival of the Democrat Barack Obama to the presidency of the United States, a process of transformation of US drug policy began. That transformation affected the domestic and foreign policy, in the latter, especially in matter of cooperation. Considering the above, the research analyzes how the transformation of US anti-drug policy has affected the cooperation between Colombia and US in the fight against drugs. To do this, the transformation of the American model is studied, also is identified the development of cooperation against drug trafficking between the two States in the period 2009- 2014. As well, the incidence of transformation of US drug policy Colombia antidrug policy is examined.
