En este artículo se profundiza en las actuales investigaciones en torno a la problemática de los discursos del odio (DDO) y su relación con el espacio público a fin de producir un aporte a las indagaciones que interrogan la relación entre democracia y autoritarismo. A través de un recorrido bibliográfico transdisciplinar, se avanza sobre una definición de DDO, y mediante un estudio con grupos focales, se reflexiona sobre el vínculo entre noticias falsas o fake news y DDO.The following article seeks to deepen current research on the problem of hate speech and its relationship with public space in order to produce a contribution to the inquiries that ask about the relationship between democracy and authoritarianism. To do this, progress is made, through a transdisciplinary bibliographic journey, on a definition of hate speech.
