dc.descriptionThe current investigation covers the creation of identities drawing from interactions established inside Gendarmería de Chile in the Region of Valparaiso among people who are serving sentences, gendarmes and professionals of the social area, based on four units that belong to the institution mentioned. The incorporation of an interpretative view allows the analysis and configuration of the meaning that the three actors give to the interactions established between them from power relationships, resulting the construction of the identity, based on expectations and stereotypes that emerge in the framework of deprivation of liberty, delving on the implications that it has in each of the actors as well.en-US
dc.descriptionLa presente investigación abarca la construcción de identidades a partir de las interacciones que se establecen dentro de Gendarmería de Chile en la región de Valparaíso, entre personas que se encuentran cumpliendo condena, gendarmes y profesionales del área social, en base a cuatro unidades que pertenecen a la institución señalada. La incorporación de una mirada interpretativa permite el análisis y la configuración de los significados que los tres actores le otorgan a las interacciones que se establecen entre éstos desde relaciones de poder, teniendo como resultado la construcción de la identidad, a partir de expectativas y estereotipos que surgen en el marco de la privación de libertad, ahondando también en las implicancias que ésta tiene en cada uno de los actores.es-ES
