The current Political Constitution does not specify the mechanism of incorporation of international norms in the internal order, nor the obligation of the courts to apply them. It is recommended that in the new Constitution the relations between international and domestic law be regulated with better determination, reaffirming Chile's commitment to human rights and their effective realization. It is argued in favor of the inclusion of implementation techniques that allow the articulation between the norms of one and the other legal system, instead of their reciprocal invalidation. © 2022, Universidad de Talca.
