dc.descriptionThe study of university social responsibility (USR) shows the link that values-based education has in the training of professionals committed to the needs of society, which includes the challenges of sustainability, the third mission of universities, and responsibility territorial social. The aforementioned means that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) must apply educational innovations based on the tensions of modernity. The objective of this work is to analyze various challenges that higher education presents from the perspective of institutional policies as an articulator of strategies that contribute to the training of socially responsible professionals. In this regard, some values are proposed to articulate efforts that contribute to university management, USR education, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
