Imaginarios sociales territoriales del servicio de psiquiatria Leonor Mascayano y su nexo con las identidades barriales

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como propósito identificar, describir y analizar los imaginarios sociales territoriales del Servicio de Psiquiatría Leonor Mascayano, en Concepción, y su vinculación con las de identidades de barrio del sector Collao. El estudio considera los aportes de la sociología y la psicología social, y utiliza una metodología cualitativa. La hipótesis central refiere a que los imaginarios sociales que se construyen en las identidades barriales del sector Collao son distintas de las identidades del Servicio de Psiquiatría Leonor Mascayano, donde estas identidades son negativas y excluyentes, La investigación concluye que los habitantes del barrio Collao construyen imaginarios sociales vinculados al sector donde viven y del territorio donde se encuentra ubicado el Servicio de psiquiatría Leonor Mascayano. Además, estos habitantes crean identidades de barrio.

The purpose of this research is to identify, describe and analyse the social territorial imaginary of the Psychiatry service Leonor Mascayano, in Concepción, and its connection with those of the district identities of the Collao sector. The study considers the contributions of sociology and social psychology, and uses a qualitative methodology. The central hypothesis is that the social imaginary that is built in the neighborhood identities of the Collao sector are different from the identities of the psychiatry service Leonor Mascayano, where these identities are negative and excluding, the Research concludes that the inhabitants of Collao district build social imaginary linked to the sector where they live and to the territory where the psychiatry service is located Leonor Mascayano. In addition, these inhabitants create neighborhood identities.
