Los Bed and Breakfast se han convertido en una tipología de alojamiento cada vez más popular entre los viajeros que no desean permanecer en hoteles convencionales y buscan compartir las costumbres locales, en el caso de Cuba se les conoce como alojamientos privados. Para el sistema turístico del Consejo Popular Vedado esta alternativa de hospedaje ha cobrado un gran auge durante los últimos años contribuyendo a diversificar la oferta alojativa del país, no obstante hace ya más de un año la situación de este sector ha sido compleja por el impacto de la pandemia de la COVID-19. Por tanto, el objetivo de la presente investigación  fue diagnosticar la situación de la distribución comercial de los alojamientos privados en el Vedado en vista a un escenario post COVID-19. Para dar cumplimiento al mismo se desarrolló un amplio trabajo de campo que conllevó a la aplicación de técnicas de investigación, tales como encuestas a arrendadores y entrevistas a expertos del tema, lo que permitió dilucidar la situación de la distribución comercial de los alojamientos privados del territorio objeto de estudio.Bed and Breakfast has become an increasingly popular type of accommodation among travelers who do not wish to stay in conventional hotels and seek to share local customs, in the case of Cuba they are known as private accommodation. For the tourism system of the Vedado Popular Council, this accommodation alternative had a great boom in recent years, helping to diversify the country's accommodation offer, however, for more than a year now, the situation in this sector has been complex due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, it was necessary to diagnose the situation of the commercial distribution of private accommodation in Vedado in view of a post-COVID-19 scenario. To fulfill this objective, extensive field work was carried out that led to the application of questionnaires to hosts and interviews with experts on the subject, which allowed elucidating the situation of the commercial distribution of private accommodation in the territory under study.
