La creciente demanda de capital por pate del sector agrícola y la falta de recursos financieros que posee el Gobierno para apoyar a este sector hace que esta tesis se centre en la propuesta de un nuevo mecanismo de financiamiento que facilite el otorgamiento de préstamos al sector agrícola, alcanzando de esta manera un mayor desarrollo para dicho sector a través de la utilización de otras fuentes de financiamiento. La titularización de remesas familiares como alternativa de financiamiento plantea la posibilidad de fortalecer el mercado de capitales hondureño a través de la emisión de Títulos Valores. Así mismo se muestra las ventajas de implementar este mecanismo como medio de financiamiento sin comprometer la estructura financiera de la empresa. Los datos de este estudio provienen de entrevistas a expertos en la materia y de la revisión de varios documentos, particularmente de tipo legal y financiero. El estudio muestra que la titularización es recomendable y viable como mecanismo de generación de recursos para el sector agrícolaThe increase demand for funds for agriculture, and the Government’s lack of financial resources to help this population makes the focus of this thesis on the proposal for a new mechanism of financing that will ease the loans for agriculture, thus reaching greater levels of development for the agricultural sector, through the use of other sources of financing. The securitization of family remittances as a financing alternative, poses the possibility of strengthening the Honduran funding market, through the emission of new Stock Values. Likewise, we show the advantages of implementing this mechanism, as a means of financing without endangering the business’ financial structure. Data for this study come from interviews with experts in the field and review of various documents, particularly legal and financial. The study shows that securitization is recommended as a viable mechanism for generating resources for the agricultural sector.
