El propósito de esta investigación, fue conocer y analizar la figura del fideicomiso, la naturaleza jurídica, el procedimiento, implementación y ventajas que ofrece a los inversionistas integrando la bibliografía obtenida para su mayor comprensión, como una solución atractiva a la inversión por su alto nivel de confiabilidad y transparencia en la administración de recursos. Durante el transcurso se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo y las técnicas de investigación documental y la entrevista, para ello, el trabajo expone como introducción los antecedentes, especialmente en América Latina, el concepto y tipos de Fideicomiso, las partes actoras intervinientes y luego llegar a la normativa en nuestro país. También, se hace mención a los bancos, organismos internacionales y otras entidades financieras, quienes se ven atraídos por las ventajas que ofrece, ya sea por rendimiento, o por el mínimo riesgo que proporciona, además, muestra como el Estado puede involucrarse en los Fideicomisos, especialmente para financiar obras de infraestructura. Se concluye que la investigación, pretende vislumbrar el futuro de los Fideicomisos en Honduras, exponiendo el crecimiento constante y sostenido en los últimos años, promoviendo la inversión interna y externa de Honduras y por ende el desarrollo socioeconómico del paísThe purpose of this research was to understand and analyze the figure of the trust, the legal nature and procedure, deployment and benefits to investors by integrating the literature obtained for your greater understanding, such as an attractive solution to the investment because of its high level of reliability and transparency in the management of resources. During the course are employed a qualitative approach and the techniques of documentary research and the interview, to do this, the work exposes as introduction the background, especially in Latin America, the concept and types of Trust, the actors involved and then reach the rules in our country. Also, mention is made to the banks, international agencies and other financial institutions, who are attracted by the benefits it offers, either for performance, or by the least amount of risk that provides, in addition, it shows how the State can be involved in the Trusts, especially to finance infrastructure works. It is concluded that the research, intended to glimpse the future of trusts in Honduras, exposing the steady and sustained growth in recent years, promoting domestic and foreign investment in Honduras and hence the socio-economic development of the country
