El presente documento muestra un estudio de factibilidad, el cual fue realizado a través de un estudio de mercadeo, financiero, técnico y legal cuyo objetivo principal es determinar la factibilidad financiera de la implementación de un negocio de venta de comida sobre ruedas conocida como food truck en el municipio del Distrito Central, Francisco Morazán, Honduras. Se utilizó un enfoque metodológico mixto donde se recolectaron datos a través de un cuestionario aleatorio para identificar las preferencias y segmento especifico del mercado. Aplicando las metodologías se logró determinar las demandas potenciales, las oportunidades y amenazas mediante el estudio del mercado, con el estudio técnico se establecieron los requerimientos de acondicionamiento del vehículo a utilizar, los procesos de producción y distribución del producto, los costos a incurrir para su elaboración y los alcances legales a tomar en cuenta antes de la ejecución del proyecto. En el estudio financiero se calcularon los indicadores como ser la VAN, TIR, periodo de recuperación y el punto de equilibrio que nos permiten determinar la factibilidad financiera del proyecto. Los resultados obtenidos establecen que el proyecto es factible desde el punto de vista financiero y tendría aceptación en el mercado.This document shows a feasibility study, which was conducted through a marketing, financial, technical and legal study whose main objective is to determine the financial feasibility of the implementation of a business selling food on wheels known as Food Truck in the municipality of the Central District, Francisco Morazán, Honduras. A mixed methodological approach was used where data were collected through a random questionnaire to identify the preferences and specific segment of the market. By applying the methodologies, it was possible to determine the potential demands of the market, opportunities and threats through the study. With the technical study was possible to determine the conditioning requirements of the vehicle to be used, the production and distribution processes of the product, the costs to be incurred for its development and the legal scope to be taken into account before the execution of the project. In the financial study the indicators were calculated such as the NPV, IRR, recovery period and the equilibrium point that allow us to determine the financial feasibility of the project. The results obtained establish that the project is feasible from the financial point of view and would have acceptance in the market.
