The internship was carried out at the C hildren International Honduras agency, a non-profit, humanitarian organization founded in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, 75 years ago. USA, 75 years ago, providing assistance to children and families living in extreme poverty. Through their sponsorship program, they invest in their potential and provide them with the opportunities and resources they need to grow up healthy, educated and ready to succeed in society and contribute to it. Currently, through the C hildren International Sponsorship Program, the worldwide support network helps approximately 340,000 children through 17 agencies in 11 countries around the world. Childr en International Honduras has five community centers where all of the organization's programs are implemented (Childr en International, 201 6a). The internship was carried out in the Grants and Employability departments.
