Procesos y herramientas vinculados a los “planes de carrera” en GBM de Honduras

Resumen
El desarrollo de planes de carrera hoy en día se vuelve una herramienta muy importante en la gestión del talento humano, las empresas buscan nuevas prácticas para lograr mantener la competitividad de acuerdo con las exigencias de mercado. Es por ello por lo que la ejecución es fundamental como parte de la motivación y retención del mejor personal. La presente investigación se desarrolló en la empresa GBM de honduras con el objetivo principal de establecer los procesos y herramientas vinculados a los “Planes de Carrera” en GBM y la influencia generada en sus colaboradores para que se motiven a crecer profesional y académicamente. La metodología orientada a la investigación fue descriptiva ya que se buscó describir los procesos que mantiene a los planes de carrera en GBM, utilizando un enfoque mixto ya que la información que se recabó. The development of career plans nowadays becomes a very important tool in the management of human talent, companies seek new practices to maintain competitiveness according to market demands. That is why the execution is fundamental as part of the motivation and retention of the best personnel. The present investigation was developed in the company GBM of Honduras with the main objective of establishing the processes and tools linked to the Career Plans in GBM and the influence generated in its collaborators so that they are motivated to grow professionally and academically. The research-oriented methodology was descriptive as it sought to describe the processes that maintain career plans in GBM, using a mixed approach since the information collected is qualitative and quantitative, with a population universe of 85 employees of which it was divided into 11 managers and 74 non-managers. Because the population was small, a census was taken to obtain the information. Two instruments were used for data collection; the semistructured interview addressed to the GBM managers of Honduras and the survey addressed to the collaborators. The results obtained showed that the company has an attractive package of benefits in which it includes career plans available to all its employees. It was concluded that the company has processes and tools defined for their application.
