Hoy en día la producción agrícola es uno de los sectores más importantes de la actividad económica del país, donde este sector contribuye a dinamizar la economía actual permitiendo el crecimiento y la oportunidad de innovar los sistemas productivos, es por ello que se busca cultivar en cualquier época del año con la calidad exigida por el mercado y lograr que las empresas mantengan sus operaciones. La finalidad de este estudio es evaluar la factibilidad de innovar el sistema de producción actual en la empresa Bosques Tropicales incluyendo nueva tecnología. Dicho estudio se realizó bajo un alcance exploratorio y cuantitativo debido a que se evaluó la rentabilidad para producir chile jalapeño bajo estructura casa malla, para lo que se determinó el costo de la inversión inicial, así como los ingresos y egresos generados por el proyecto en base a estimaciones y proyecciones por ciclos de cultivo. Se establecieron variables sensibles que pueden afectar los resultados del proyecto con el fin de medir los efectos que tendrían los mismos, tanto en los ingresos como los egresos del proyecto, encontrando resultados positivos al utilizar herramientas de evaluación como el valor actual neto (VAN), la tasa interna de retorno (TIR), el periodo de recuperación de la inversión (PRI) y sensibilizándolo mediante la modificación de variables consideradas clave; lo que concluyó que, realizar el proyecto resulta rentable y factible para la empresa Bosques Tropicales, generándole mayor valor a la misma.Today agricultural production is one of the most important sectors of economic activity in the country, where this sector helps boost the current economy allowing growth and the opportunity to innovate production systems, which is why it seeks to grow in any season with the quality demanded by the market and ensure that companies maintain their operations. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of innovating the current production system in the company Tropical Forest including new technology. This study was conducted under an exploratory and quantitative scope because profitability is evaluated to produce jalapeno structure under house mesh, for which the cost of the initial investment was determined, as well as revenues and expenses generated by the project based estimates and projections by cropping cycles. Sensitive variables that can affect the results of the project in order to measure the effects would be the same in both revenues and expenditures of the project, finding positive results when using assessment tools such as the net present value (NPV) were established, the internal rate of return (IRR), payback period of investment (PRI) and by raising by modifying key variables considered; which it concluded that, make the project profitable and feasible for the company Tropical Forest, generating greater value to it.
