El proceso de la práctica profesional fue realizado en la empresa DIPPETROL (Distribuidora de Productos del Petróleo S.A. de C.V.) desde abril 19 del 2021 al 25 de junio del 2021. La empresa es una distribuidora de lo que se conoce como combustibles limpios como lo son el diésel, gasolina plus o regular y gasolina premium o super. También distribuye a nivel industrial el tipo de combustible que se llama Fuel Oíl, más conocido como bunker. Este se utiliza más a nivel industrial como lo son, industrias textileras, cementeras, hoteles, etc. Este tipo de combustible se utiliza en plantas generadoras de energía, calderas, hornos, etc. (DIPPETROL, 2019) En el proceso del manejo de los combustibles es muy importante contar con gente muy capacitada en el tema ya que los combustibles son altamente inflamables. También se debe contar con el equipo apropiado ya que se ha conocido que trabajar alrededor de estos combustibles puede ser dañino para la salud si no se encuentra con el equipo de trabajo adecuado, como lo son guantes, lentes de seguridad, casco, etc. A lo largo de la práctica profesional, uno de los objetivos era encontrar un área o un proceso el cual se pudiera implementar una mejora. Se encontró que a la empresa le seria de mucha ayuda construir tanques que sirvan para almacenar combustible. Se sabe que el precio del combustible no depende de las empresas que las vendan como lo son las estaciones de combustibles y las refinerías. El precio del combustible es regulado por el estado. Entonces lo que se pretender lograr con estos tanques de almacenamiento es que si en la semana actual el precio del combustible está a L. 22.56 el galón y la otra semana está a L. 25.24 el galón, las empresas pueden llenar sus tanques de combustible y venderlo la otra semana más caro, para así de esta manera, generar una mayor utilidad para la empresa. Esto también va a generar favoritismo para las empresas que compran combustibles, ya que usualmente las refinerías como CHEVRON o PUMA ENERGY, se encuentran ubicados en un lugar muy lejano y entre más lejano está la terminal, más alto les va a costar el flete a las empresas que compran combustible, mientras que si DIPPETROL construye su propia terminal, en un lugar más cercano, las demás empresas empezarían a comprarle a DIPPETROL en lugar de a las otras refinerías como CHEVRON y PUMA ENERGY.The professional practice process was carried out at the company DIPPETROL (Distribuidora de Productos del Petróleo S.A. de C.V.) from April 19, 2021 to June 25, 2021.
