Finalmente se logro realizar un prototipo funcional y suficientemente estable y robusto como para que el proyecto sea viable para su instalación en las demás máquinas de costura||In the professional practice report presented below, a detailed description of the activities carried out at Molino Harinero de Sula, S.A. is given, giving evidence of the completion of ten weeks of work. During the development of the practice, several works were carried out, such as the replacement of communication cables of equipment such as the GSE, SCADA HMI screens and peripheries. Also the assembly and connection of control panels for the gravimetric dispensers installed for mill five and the annex mill.
This thesis consists of the development of a device capable of correcting the open seam defect generated by automatic closing machines in the Cutting and Sewing area.
The central objective is to develop a device that is capable of following the work rhythm of an average associate without problems, also being able to avoid open seams generated by different situations, it also had to be robust so that it could withstand daily work and not bother the machine handling.
The present work has been developed with the bases of exploratory research, therefore, this work has a qualitative approach. The main sources of information are consultations with associates, mechanics and people knowledgeable about the subject, as well as ideas acquired from different sources on the internet.
Based on the above, the situation was analyzed and a device was designed based on the experience gained with the analysis carried out, in addition, the average defect history of the plant was analyzed.
Once having the necessary information, the device was assembled and the necessary modifications to the machine were made so that it could work correctly, tests were carried out and the production carried out by that machine was analyzed to know the effect of the aligner on the open seam.
Finally, it was possible to make a functional and sufficiently stable and robust prototype so that the project is viable for its installation in the other sewing machines.
