Material e Métodos: Registros de 104 pacientes e 194 implantes foram incluídos no estudo. Dados clínicos e radiográficos foram coletados e a presença de peri-implantite definida de acordo com as diretrizes do Workshop Mundial de 2017. Nível ósseo marginal (NOM), ângulo de emergência (AE), perfil de emergência (PE), altura do transmucoso do pilar (ATP), e a relação horizontal (RH) restauração/plataforma implante foram obtidas a partir das radiografias. Variáveis dicotômicas ao nível do paciente e do implante foram comparadas com testes de associação. O teste U de Mann-Whitney foi realizado para comparar valores quantitativos contínuos entre os grupos estudados. A regressão logística binomial foi conduzida para identificar indicadores de risco associados ao evento peri-implantite ao nível do paciente e do implante. O nível de significância foi estabelecido em 5% para todos os testes. Resultados: A prevalência de peri-implantite foi de 13,4% (26 implantes). As medições AE médias foram de 32,9o ± 17,6o para implantes sem peri-implantite e 31,9o ± 9,57o para implantes com peri-implantite. Não foram identificadas associações estatisticamente significativas entre o contorno interproximal da restauração (EA, EP), PAH e HR com a peri-implantite. Conclusão: Os achados não suportam a noção de que as variáveis radiográficas estudadas de próteses sobre implantes únicas aparafusadas estão associadas à presença de peri-implantite. No entanto, mais estudos com uma amostra maior são necessários para melhor averiguar a associação destas variáveis com a saúde e a doença peri-implantarObjective: The objective of this retrospective cross-sectional study was to evaluate the effect of the interproximal contour of single screw-retained implant prosthesis on the presence of peri-implantitis. Material and Methods: Records of 104 patients and 194 implants were included in the study. Clinical and radiographic data were collected and the presence of peri-implantitis defined according to the 2017 World Workshop guidelines. Marginal bone level (MBL), emergency angle (EA), emergency profile (EP), prosthetic abutment height (PAH), and restoration/implant platform horizontal ratio (HR) were obtained from the radiographs. Dichotomous variables at patient- and implant-level were compared with association tests. Mann-Whitney U-Test was performed to compare continuous quantitative values between the studied groups. Binomial logistic regression was conducted to identify risk indicators associated with the peri-implant event at patient- and implant-level. Significance level was set at 5% for all tests. Results: The prevalence of peri-implantitis was 13.4% (26 implants). Mean EA measurements were 32.9o ± 17.6o for implants with no peri-implantitis and 31.9o ± 9.57o for implants with peri-implantitis. No statistically significant associations were identified between the interproximal restoration contour (EA and EP), PAH and HR and peri-implantitis. Conclusions: The findings do not support the notion that the studied radiographical variables of single screw-retained implant prostheses are associated with the presence of peri-implantitis. However, further studies with a larger sample are warranted to better ascertain the association of these variables with peri-implant health and disease
