China has taken a leading role in the early 21st century, becoming an important member of the international system, with influence over several countries, including those in Latin America. The growing political-diplomatic interaction between China and the region of Latin America brought a new aspect to the reordering of international relations, as the approach allowed the Latin American states to break away from the traditional Western powers and thus to build a more just and harmonious relationship with a great state. In this way, the present research tries to understand the Chinese State's approach to the region in general, through South-South Cooperation and Chinese multilateralism, analyzing the fruits os this interaction.A China assumiu um papel de destaque no início do século XXI, tornando-se um importante membro do sistema internacional, com poder de influência sobre vários países, inclusive aqueles situados na América Latina. A crescente interação políticadiplomática entre a China e a região da América Latina trouxe um novo aspecto para o reordenamento das relações internacionais, pois a aproximação permitiu aos Estados latino-americanos desvencilharam-se das tradicionais potências ocidentais e assim, construir uma relação mais justa e harmoniosa com um grande Estado. Dessa forma, a presente pesquisa procura entender a aproximação do Estado chinês com a região em geral, através da Cooperação Sul-Sul e do multilateralismo chinês, analisando os frutos dessa interação.
