El presente artículo da a conocer los resultados del proyecto de investigación titulado: Identificación del estilo de gerencia en la empresa “A” del sector agroindustrial de la ciudad de Montería, cuyo objetivo principal fue identificar el estilo gerencial aplicado dentro de una de las empresas más representativas de la agroindustria del departamento de Córdoba, ubicada en la ciudad de Montería, la cual se llamará empresa A. Este estudio siguió un enfoque mixto; la recolección de datos se realizó a través de encuestas que permitieran conocer información general acerca de la empresa y sus distintas áreas, así como también, del estilo gerencial y orientación evidenciada dentro de la misma. Posteriormente, se compararon los datos recolectados con las teorías existentes. Los resultados del estudio mostraron que en la empresa A prevalece el estilo de gerencia deliberativo con una orientación humanística que permite la participación activa de los funcionarios, sin embargo, existen ciertas consideraciones relacionadas con la mejora continua de algunos procesos en diferentes áreas al interior de la empresa.This article presents the results of the research project Identification of management style in the company “A” of the agroindustrial sector of the city of Montería, whose main objective was to identify the management style applied within one of the most representative agro-industry companies in the department of Córdoba, located in the city of Monteria, which will be called company A. This study followed a mixed approach; the data collection was carried out through surveys that allowed to know general information about the company and its different areas, as well as the management style and orientation evidenced within it. Subsequently, the data collected was compared with the existing theories. The results of the study showed that in company A the style of deliberative management prevails with a humanistic orientation that allows the active participation of the officials, however, there are certain considerations related to the continuous improvement of some processes in different areas within the company.
