Atualmente existem mais de 50 mil organizações sem fins lucrativos no planeta. A internacionalização representa para as organizações sem fins lucrativos uma relação de benefícios como: exploração de recursos específicos da instituição, análises econômicas de escala e escopo, examinar vantagens específicas de localização e aprendizado com parceiros externos. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o processo de internacionalização da organização sem fins lucrativos Play the Call à luz das Teorias de Internacionalização. O estudo caracteriza-se como aplicado, descritivo e qualitativo, além de estudo de caso. Para tanto, foi realizada revisão bibliográfica, entrevista semiestruturada com o fundador da organização, a fim de se analisar processo de internacionalização da Play the Call a partir das teorias econômica e comportamental. O resultado deste trabalho atesta que as teorias comportamentais, principalmente os conceitos apresentados pela Escola de Uppsala, são aplicáveis à internacionalização da organização sem fins lucrativos estudadaNowadays, there are more than 50 thousand nonprofit organizations around the world. To these organizations, the internationalization represents a number of benefits, such as: the exploitation of specific resources of the institution, the exploitation of scale and scope economies, the exploitation of specific location advantages and the possibility of acquiring knowledge from external partners. The present work aims to analyze the internationalization process of a nonprofit organization called Play the Call inside the context of the Internationalization Theories. The study is defined as applied, descriptive and qualitative, as well as it can be described as a case study. To this end, a literature review was held, likewise a semi-structured interview with the founder of the organization, in order to analyze the internationalization process of Play the Call from the perspective of both economic and behavioral theories. The outcome of this work testifies that the behavioral theories, in specific the concepts presented by the Uppsala School, can be applied to the internationalization of the nonprofit organization studied.
