In this work our objective is to construct nom-Abelian eld theories starting from well-known Abelian ones. To accomplish this task we used the Faddeev- Jackiw method so-called in the literature as the symplectic formalism. The path to obtain this non-Abelianity is to modify the original Abelian theories in order to introduce conveniently the non-Abelian algebra. In this way we obtained two non-Abelian theories, i. e. , the SU(2) and SU(2) U(1) Yang-Mills theories. The starting pont was the Abelian U(1) Maxwell eletromagnetic theory. Although these cost results are very well-known, the idea is to use the Faddeev-Jackiw method to carry out it. In other words, these results show a new interpretation and a new procedure for the method.Neste trabalho nosso objetivo é construir teorias não-Abelianas a partir de teorias Abelianas. Para realizar esta tarefa foi utilizado o método de Faddeev- Jackiw conhecido na literatura como formalismo simplético. O caminho para obter essas teorias é modi car as teorias originais Abelianas a m de introduzir convenientemente a álgebra não-abeliana. Desta forma obtivemos duas teorias n~ao-abelianas, as teorias de Yang-Mills SU(2) e SU(2) U(1). O ponto de partida foi a teoria de Maxwell para o eletromagnetismo U(1) que é abeliana. Embora estes resultados s~ao muito bem conhecidos, a idéia é usar o método de Faddeev-Jackiw para realizar isso.
