dc.descriptionThe literary production of black women writers has been the one that most questions the historical and epistemic erasures and silences within the canonical national text. The black within the canon is systematically portrayed from stereotypes and in the place of other.In this paper, I intend to analyze, based on theorists such as Homi Bhabha, Beatriz Nascimento, and Guerreiro Ramos, how the work O Crime do Cais do Valongo, by writer Eliana Alves Cruz, published in 2018, makes a critical reading of memory and black history starting from black people themselves, shifting the place of representation to representativeness and creating a narrative of history that breaks with the idea of the black as the other.en-US
dc.descriptionA produção literária de escritoras negras tem sido aquela que mais questiona os apagamentos e silenciamentos históricos e epistêmicos dentro do texto nacional canônico. O negro dentro do cânone é sistematicamente retratado a partir de estereótipos e no lugar de outro. Neste trabalho, a pretendo analisar, a partir de teóricos como Homi Bhabha, Beatriz Nascimento e Guerreiro Ramos, como a obra O Crime do Cais do Valongo, da escritora Eliana Alves Cruz, publicado em 2018, faz uma leitura crítica da memória e da história negra partindo dos próprios negros, deslocando o lugar da representação para a representatividade e criando uma narrativa da história que rompe com a ideia do negro como o outro.pt-BR
