| dc.description | In this theoretical essay, we present some thoughts and possibilities of joing, in the education perspective of Physical Education (PE) and Sociology – in a multidisciplinary approach – with the intent of analyzing several materials published in some media outlets like newspapers, print magazines and internet. We used the perspective of media education (ME). With some examples about sport, health, body and aesthetics, the materials presented and the discussions established here are guided by the sociological perspective (functionalization, socialization, ideological, commodification and spectacle), with the goal of examining some issues that initially seem to pose as something exclusively by the PE, but that can be combined with the knowledge of sociology. We try to show that, with the methodological approach, proposed by the productive and investigative field of ME, it is indeed possible to lead with a multidisciplinary approach. In addition, the pedagogical interventions can be better contextualized and expanded in order to contribute positively and critically to the formation of subjectivities of children and young people, and making them to understand and be informed about trivial facts that are not always treated by the media as it should be, and also, in this case, rescuing the social function of the school and its curriculum components, peculiarly, PE and Sociology. | |
| dc.description | Neste ensaio teórico, apresentamos algumas reflexões e possibilidades de junção, na perspectiva do tratamento pedagógico tanto da Educação Física (EF) como da Sociologia – numa abordagem multidisciplinar –, analisando diversos materiais publicados em alguns veículos midiáticos, como jornais, revistas impressas, portais da internet e sites diversos, a partir da perspectiva da mídia-educação (ME). Com exemplos em torno do esporte, da saúde, do corpo e da estética, os materiais apresentados e as discussões aqui presentes são pautados pelo viés sociológico (funcionalização, sociabilização, ideologização, mercadorização e espetacularização), na tentativa de analisar algumas problemáticas que, em um primeiro momento, parecem se colocar como algo exclusivamente da EF, mas que podem ser articuladas com os saberes da Sociologia. Procura-se mostrar, com o recurso metodológico, produtivo e investigativo proposto pela ME, que é sim possível uma abordagem multidisciplinar e que, além disso, as intervenções pedagógicas podem ser mais bem contextualizadas e ampliadas, no intuito de contribuir de maneira positiva e crítica na formação das subjetividades das crianças e dos jovens, levando-os a compreenderem e serem esclarecidos sobre fatos corriqueiros que nem sempre são tratados pela mídia com a profundidade com que deveriam, resgatando a função social da escola e de seus componentes curriculares, neste caso, a EF e a Sociologia. | |
