| dc.description | Governor José Rollemberg Leite Park is part of the Environmental Protection Area Morro do
Urubu, which has the last remnant of Atlantic Forest the city of Aracaju. Although it has been
the subject of researches in the last decades, it is verified that this area contemplates demands
of studies on the perception of the visitors with respect to the space of the Park and the
Atlantic Forest. Thus, this study had as general objective to analyze the perception of the
visitors about the Governador José Rollemberg Leite Park and about the vegetation present in
this space (Atlantic Forest). The methodology involved bibliographical and documentary
consultations and the application of semi-structured interviews with qualitative and
quantitative analysis. The results showed that the main motivational factor for the visitation of
the park is leisure / entertainment, that the vegetation of the park was considered important for
the majority, but many did not know the name of the predominant vegetation. With regard to
the zoo, many consider it good, but there have been reports of mistreatment with animals, lack
of safety and infrastructure. The meaning of the park for the interviewees is centered on the
contemplation of nature. It was verified the presence of affective ties of the interviewees
regarding childhood memories, as well as based on the attitudes and values related to the
human love for the place. | |
| dc.description | O Parque Governador José Rollemberg Leite está inserido na Área de Proteção Ambiental
Morro do Urubu, que possui o último remanescente de floresta de Mata Atlântica da cidade de
Aracaju. Apesar de ter sido tema de pesquisas nas últimas décadas, verifica-se que essa área
contempla demandas de estudos sobre a percepção dos visitantes com relação ao espaço do
Parque e à Mata Atlântica. Sendo assim, este estudo teve como objetivo geral analisar a
percepção dos visitantes sobre o Parque Governador José Rollemberg Leite e sobre a
vegetação presente neste espaço (Mata Atlântica). A metodologia envolveu consultas
bibliográficas, documentais e aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas com análise qualiquantitativa.
Os resultados demonstraram que o principal fator motivacional à visitação do
parque é o lazer/diversão, que a vegetação do parque foi considerada importante para a
maioria, porém, muitos não souberam informar o nome da vegetação predominante. Com
relação ao zoológico, muitos o consideram bom, mas, houve relatos sobre maus tratos com os
animais, carência na segurança e na infraestrutura. O significado do parque para os
entrevistados está centrado na contemplação da natureza. Verificou-se a presença de laços
afetivos dos entrevistados referentes a lembranças de infância, como também pautados nas
atitudes e valores relacionados ao amor humano pelo lugar. | |
