| dc.description | They are Cristóvão in Sergipe, through the San Francisco Square, finishes to receive
from UNESCO, the stamp of Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity and with this
unknown fact, the city, with colonial and possessing characteristic of cultural goods in
the tangible category of and the intangible one, starts to enter in the route of the
international tourism. After the deserved commemorations, are basic to think about
strategies that involve the local population in the valuation of its patrimony. Since only
thus, this so honroso heading is supported for future generations. One of these
actions can be on the patrimonial education aiming at to the construction of the
conscience citizen in Is Cristóvão. This type of education could be an interesting bias
in the taking of conscience of the inhabitants on importance and cultural value of
what the old center possesss. E in this direction, this article if considers to reflect on
the patrimonial education as action of construction of the citizenship in the rescue, knowledge, recognition and respect to the são cristovense cultural patrimony. For in
such a way, the used methodology was the bibliographical research, with literature
revision on the concepts of Education, Patrimony patrimonial education amongst that
if to make necessary. Differently of the mining historical cities that are far from the
great centers, or same of the Belo Horizonte capital, in the field research he was
evidenced that a “comfort partied” between the public power and the population in
not developing the tourism in the city exists. The inhabitants have conscience of the
value of the city, but he does not invest in the propagation of this Good. | |
| dc.description | São Cristóvão em Sergipe, através da Praça São Francisco, acaba de receber da
Unesco, o selo de Patrimônio Cultural da Humanidade e com esse fato inédito, a
cidade, com característica colonial e possuidora de bens culturais na categoria do
tangível e intangível, passa a entrar na rota do turismo internacional. Após as
merecidas comemorações, é fundamental pensar em estratégias que envolvam a
população local na valoração do seu patrimônio. Visto que só assim, esse tão
honroso título seja sustentado para futuras gerações. Uma dessas ações pode estar
ligada a educação patrimonial visando à construção da consciência cidadã em São
Cristóvão. Esse tipo de educação poderá ser um viés interessante na tomada de
consciência dos moradores sobre importância e valor cultural do que o centro antigo
possui. E nesse sentido, esse artigo se propõe a refletir sobre a educação
patrimonial como ação de construção da cidadania no resgate, conhecimento,
reconhecimento e respeito ao patrimônio cultural sãocristovense. Para tanto, a
metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, com revisão de literatura sobre os
conceitos de Educação, Patrimônio educação patrimonial dentre outros que se
fizerem necessário. Diferentemente das cidades históricas mineiras que estão longe
dos grandes centros, ou mesmo da capital Belo Horizonte, na pesquisa de campo
ficou constatado que existe uma “comodidade compactuada” entre o poder público e
a população em não desenvolver o turismo na cidade. Os moradores têm
consciência do valor da cidade, mas não se investe na propagação desse Bem. | |
