| dc.description | A análise da parresía por Michel Foucault foi desde o início atravessada pela questão de saber como ela se manifesta na idade contemporânea. O propósito deste artigo é sustentar que o texto de H. Arendt, Reflexões sobre Little Rock, preenche os requisitos da parresía, poisArendt fala em nome próprio, critica uma situação ética particular e arrisca a sua reputação.Este exemplo é particularmente interessante porque o texto continua a ser polémico para o grande público e condenável para os seus primeiros destinatários, a comunidade dos afrodescendentes.
