| dc.description | The aim of this work is to analyze and to understand the dynamics of a Trip Generation Hub PGV, the trips generated, the impact of the traffic in the surrounding area and the hub influence area. The PGV studied was the integrated urban bus Terminal Central of Uberlândia, MG Brazil, which has a small shopping attached with about 80 stores and an enclosed parking lot with 262 spaces. The estimated number of customers attending the PGV under study was 144,000 daily. A literature review was made on the subject, which included the Manual for the treatment of PGV from DENATRAN, the City Statute and the Master Plan of the Municipality. It is presented an analysis of the results from a survey conducted with the customers of the PGV. The survey was developed with the objective of knowing the origin and the destination of customers who attend the PGV. A survey of traffic count in the vicinity of the enterprise was done in order to analyze the volume of vehicles near the hub and the level of service in the primarily intersections. Finally, this study showed the dynamics of this type of hub and the impacts of the traffic in the vicinities of the enterprise, where most of the intersections operate at Level of Service F, and the pedestrian s behavior, who don´t comply with the traffic rules. | |

| dc.description | O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar e entender a dinâmica de um Polo Gerador de Viagem PGV, as viagens geradas, o impacto do trânsito no seu entorno e a área de influência do polo. O PGV estudado foi o Terminal Central de integração de ônibus urbano de Uberlândia, MG Brasil, que possui um shopping center anexo com aproximadamente 80 lojas e um estacionamento coberto com 262 vagas. Diariamente são estimadas 144.000 pessoas que freqüentam o PGV em estudo. Desta forma, com a finalidade de alcançar os objetivos desejados, foi feito um estudo do referencial teórico ligado ao tema, o Manual do DENATRAN para tratamento de PGV, o Estatuto da Cidade e o Plano Diretor do Município. Ainda como parte da metodologia desenvolveu-se pesquisa direta no polo, entrevista informal, registro fotográfico, observação do comportamento de pedestres e condutores. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com um objetivo de se saber a origem e o destino das pessoas que freqüentam o empreendimento. Foram feitos levantamentos de dados de tráfego de veículos nas imediações do mesmo, com a finalidade de analisar o fluxo de veículos nas proximidades do polo e o nível de serviço nas principais interseções. Ao final, a análise do resultado da pesquisa apresentou os impactos gerados pelo empreendimento ao sistema viário, quando se verificou que a maioria dos cruzamentos próximos ao PGV operam no Nível de Serviço F, e também o inadequado comportamento das pessoas ao circularem no entorno do polo, que desrespeitam as normas de circulação. | |
