| dc.description | Objective: Analyze the trend in the evolution of food purchases from Agricultura familiar AF
by the Programa Municipal de Alimentação Escolar (PMAE) from 2011 to 2019. Methods:
Documentary study carried out based on data provided by the Fundo Nacional de
Desenvolvimento para Educação (FNDE) and Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas
Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP). The school census of students enrolled in the publicnetwork in kindergarten, elementary and high school from 2011 to 2019 were taken from the
INEP website to characterize the school network in the city of Uberlândia. Subsequently, data
for the purchase of foodstuffs destined for the PNAE and values referring to the purchase of
family farming were extracted from the FNDE website and from the Programa Municipal de
Alimentação Escolar da Secretaria Municipal de Educação da Prefeitura de Uberlândia.
Results: The number of preschool students increased (+42%) in the period from 2011 to 2019.
The number of students enrolled in elementary school, on the other hand, showed a downward
trend and there was a considerable reduction in the number of students enrolled in high school
in the period analyzed (-13%). The amount transferred to implement the PNAE in Uberlândia
was BRL 3,981,240.00 in 2011 and BRL 7,361,244.00 in 2019. The amount of food purchased
from AF did not occur in the first two years, and in the following years it reached increasing
values, starting in 2013 with 11%, in 2014 it reached 14%, in 2015 and 2016 it reached 17%
and 16.69%. In 2017, the purchase by AF was not carried out, in the years 2018 and 2019, the
purchase resumed, reaching 19.18% and 21.15%, respectively. Conclusion: Despite not being
able to reach the value stipulated by law in the analyzed period, there was a progressive increase
in the purchase of AF genres by the PNAE. | |

| dc.description | Objetivo: Analisar a tendência da evolução de compra de alimentos da Agricultura familiar
(AF) pelo Programa Municipal de Alimentação Escolar (PMAE) em Uberlândia no período de
2011 a 2019. Métodos: Estudo documental realizado a partir dos dados disponibilizados pelo
Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento para Educação (FNDE) e Instituto Nacional de Estudos e
Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP). O censo escolar dos estudantes matriculados
na rede pública no ensino infantil, fundamental e médio de 2011 a 2019 foram retirados da
página eletrônica do INEP para caracterização da rede escolar do município de Uberlândia.
Posteriormente, foram extraídos da página eletrônica do FNDE e do PMAE da Secretaria
Municipal de Educação da Prefeitura de Uberlândia, os dados para a compra de gêneros
alimentícios destinados ao Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar (PNAE) e valores
referentes a compra da agricultura familiar. Resultados: O número de estudantes do ensino
infantil aumentou (+42%) no período de 2011 a 2019. Já o número de estudantes matriculados
no ensino fundamental apresentou tendência de redução no período e houve redução
considerável do número de estudantes matriculados no ensino médio no período analisado (-
13%). O valor transferido para a efetivação do PNAE em Uberlândia, foi de R$ 3.981.240,00
em 2011 e de R$ 7.361.244,00 em 2019. O valor da aquisição de alimentos da AF não aconteceu
nos dois primeiros anos, e nos anos seguintes atingiu valores crescentes, começando pelo ano
de 2013 com 11%, em 2014 atingiu 14%, já em 2015 e 2016 obteve 17% e 16,69%. Em 2017
a compra pela AF não foi realizada, já nos anos de 2018 e 2019 retomou a compra alcançando
19,18% e 21,15%, respectivamente. Conclusão: Apesar de não conseguir atingir o valor
estipulado por lei no período analisado, houve aumento progressivo na compra de gêneros da
AF pelo PNAE. | |
