We used the Linear Response Theory to determine the injection of spin current at the interface between a ferromagnetic insulator (FMI) and a superconductor (SC). Since electrons can not penetrate in the FMI, there is no electric current across the interface. However, a spin- flip scattering allows to quasi-particles to exchange spin with localized electrons in the FMI. Assuming an imbalance δµ = µ ↑ − µ ↓ between the up and down-spin chemical potential in the SC, electrons in the most populated state flip their spin at the interface with higher probability than the least populated while magnons are absorbed or emitted at the interface. Within the Schwinger representation for the ferromagnet, we are able to study the paramagnet phase transition influence on the spin current, as well as the superconductor phase transition. We discuss interesting results in the paramagnet phase that show coherence factors peaks in the spin current due to superconductivity even when magnetic excitations are provided only by thermal fluctuations. It is worth to note that the oscillating magnetic field usually applied to produce coherent magnons is not needed in our proposal. Keywords: Spintronics. Superconductivity. Ferromagnetism.
