dc.descriptionThis article aims to show, based on the critical reading and analysis of published writings and manuscripts of philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer – especially the texts related to his ethics - the contrasts and articulations between two types of justice suggested by the author in his work, namely, Temporal Justice (zeitliche Gerechtigkeit) and Eternal Justice (ewige Gerechtigkeit). To achieve this, we will analyze the concepts of law (Gesetz), punishment (Strafe) and revenge (Rache), which belong to temporal justice, and the concept of revenge as an arm of Eternal Justice (Arm der ewigen Gerechtigkeit). This objective has as its background the attempt to relate and articulate morality and legality, that is, the philosopher's metaphysics and his ethics.en-US
dc.descriptionEste texto tem por objetivo, a partir da leitura e análise dos escritos publicados e de manuscritos póstumos do filósofo Arthur Schopenhauer – em especial os textos relativos a sua ética –, explorar os contrastes e articulações entre dois tipos de justiça aventados pelo autor em sua obra, a saber, a Justiça Temporal (zeitliche Gerechtigkeit) e a Justiça Eterna (ewige Gerechtigkeit), a partir dos conceitos de lei (Gesetz), punição (Strafe) e de vingança (Rache), oriundos da justiça temporal, e do conceito de vingança enquanto braço da Justiça Eterna (Arm der ewigen Gerechtigkeit). Tal objetivo tem como pano de fundo a tentativa de relacionar e articular os âmbito da moralidade e da legalidade, isto é, a metafísica e a ética do filósofo.pt-BR
