| dc.description | On the importance of the role of teachers' and students' beliefs, it is understood that revealing them allows a better adequacy of the goals, contents and procedures and, consequently, chances of greater effectiveness of teaching and learning languages process (BARCELOS, 2006). This study presents a synthesis of the construct beliefs in the scope of Applied Linguistics in Brazil and proposes reflections on the aspects of the relation belief and action in the teaching and assessment of languages. Lastly, the results of some researches about the topic of learning assessment involving belief-action are presented. We conclude that significant changes in teaching practices involve the identification and reflection of beliefs by teachers, whether in initial or continuing education courses. | en-US |
| dc.description | Sobre a importância do papel das crenças de professores e alunos, entende-se que revelá-las permite uma melhor adequação de objetivos, conteúdos e procedimentos e, consequentemente, chances de maior eficácia do processo de ensino e aprendizagem de línguas (BARCELOS, 2006). Este estudo apresenta uma síntese do construto crenças no âmbito da Linguística Aplicada no Brasil e propõe reflexões sobre os aspectos da relação crença e ação no ensino e avaliação de línguas. Por fim, são apresentados os resultados de algumas pesquisas com o tema avaliação da aprendizagem envolvendo crença-ação. Conclui-se que mudanças significativas nas práticas docentes passam pela identificação e reflexão das crenças pelos professores, seja nos cursos de formação inicial ou continuada. | pt-BR |
