| dc.description | This article deals with the aspects of identity and the culture of the national territory, departing from a linguistic exception of the term “Brazilian”. In order to do that, it is presented the notions of work and exploitation, which have a singular characteristic in the Brazilian context since its origin as a nation. The study moves from the etymology of the word “Brazilian” along with the areas of history, sociology and others. Moreover, it includes a variety of literary references, which deals with issues that are in the core of the realm of literature-work-citizenship. In order to sustain such questioning, this study is based on the theoretical capital of Giorgio Agamben, Roberto Damatta, Byung-Chul Han, Darcy Ribeiro and Roberto Vecchi. The results show that the Brazilian worker has always had a cruel trajectory, in the realm of both work and citizenship. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabalho discute, a partir de uma exceção linguística – o termo “brasileiro” –, aspectos da identidade e da cultura do território nacional. Para tal, apresenta noções de trabalho e exploração, as quais têm uma singularidade própria no contexto brasileiro desde sua origem como nação. O estudo parte da etimologia da palavra “brasileiro” e perpassa pelas áreas da história, da sociologia, entre outras. Ademais, traz referências literárias diversas, as quais apontam e problematizam questões que estão no cerne do eixo literatura-trabalho-cidadania. Para embasar tal reflexão, centra-se, em especial, no capital teórico de Giorgio Agamben, Roberto Damatta, Byung-Chul Han, Darcy Ribeiro e Roberto Vecchi. A reflexão evidencia que o trabalhador brasileiro sempre enfrentou uma trajetória de atrocidades, tanto no âmbito do trabalho quanto no da cidadania. | pt-BR |
