The National School Meal Program is considered the main food program in Brazil and it is a public policy recognized as one of the most relevant and long lasting. Due to its recent implementation in the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, a study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the implementation process of this Program within the framework of Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) and Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Sul de Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS), focusing on the social indicators foreseen by the Program (2009- 2016). It was used for the research a type of evaluation called evaluation by triangulation of methods, having as a matrix the dimension of School Feeding analysis accompanied by its respective variables, a map of indicators observing its desirable properties and instruments. Interaction with regional family farmers and the purchase of family agriculture were easier actions for the southern Minas Gerais Institution, due in part to their long history related to agricultural science courses. There is also a better interaction between the sectors of this institution due to the commissions that were set up for the execution of public calls. As a rule, educational data are better described in IFSULDEMINAS than in IFRN and even in relation to national averages. In the campus where there is no technical responsibility for the Program, whether in the IFSULDEMINAS or in the IFRN, the educational dimension, carried out by the actions of food and nutritional education, is not or is sporadically executed. IFSULDEMINAS also presents a better management of the funds provided by the FNDE in relation to the IFRN, since it presents a lower percentage than the second one regarding the devolution of resources to the Ministry of Education, taking into account all the historical series researched: 8.6% for the South Minas Gerais Institution against 10.08% for the potiguar. Although the socioeconomic profile of the IFSULDEMINAS students is more favorable than that of the IFRN students, the supply of meals through the PNAE is greater in the first one, leveraged by the significant contribution of the school farms in the campus that have a productive unit. Finally, these Institutions, despite emphasizing the integral formative aspect of the student, do not implement the Program relating it to the different dimensions of the student's life.O Programa Nacional de Alimenta??o Escolar ? considerado o principal programa de alimenta??o do Brasil e ? uma pol?tica p?blica reconhecida como uma das mais relevantes e longevas. Pela sua recente efetiva??o na Rede Federal de Educa??o Profissional, Cient?fica e Tecnol?gica, empreendeu-se um estudo com o objetivo de avaliar o processo de implementa??o desse Programa no ?mbito do Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) e do Instituto Federal de Educa??o, Ci?ncia e Tecnologia do Sul de Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS), com enfoque nos indicadores sociais previstos pelo Programa (2009-2016). Foi utilizada para a pesquisa um tipo de avalia??o denominada avalia??o por triangula??o de m?todos, tendo como matriz a dimens?o de an?lise Alimenta??o Escolar acompanhada de suas respectivas vari?veis, de um mapa de indicadores observando as suas propriedades desej?veis e de instrumentos. A intera??o com os agricultores familiares regionais e a compra da agricultura familiar foram a??es mais f?ceis para a Institui??o Sul Mineira, em virtude, em parte, de seu longo hist?rico relacionado aos cursos das Ci?ncias Agr?rias. Tamb?m existe uma melhor intera??o entre os setores dessa Institui??o em virtude das comiss?es que foram constitu?das para a execu??o das chamadas p?blicas. Via de regra, os dados educacionais apresentam uma melhor descri??o no IFSULDEMINAS que no IFRN e at? mesmo em rela??o ?s m?dias nacionais. Nos campi nos quais n?o existe respons?vel t?cnico pelo Programa, seja no IFSULDEMINAS seja no IFRN, a dimens?o educativa, efetivada pelas a??es de educa??o alimentar e nutricional, ou n?o ? ou ? esporadicamente executada. O IFSULDEMINAS tamb?m apresenta uma melhor gest?o da verba repassada pelo FNDE em rela??o ao IFRN, pois apresenta um percentual inferior ao do segundo quanto ? devolu??o de recursos ao Minist?rio da Educa??o considerando toda a s?rie hist?rica pesquisada: 8,6% para a Institui??o Sul Mineira contra 10,08% para a potiguar. Embora o perfil socioecon?mico dos alunos do IFSULDEMINAS seja mais favor?vel que o dos alunos do IFRN, a oferta de refei??es mediante o PNAE ? maior na primeira, alavancada pela expressiva contribui??o das fazendas escolas nos campi que possui unidade produtiva. Por fim, essas Institui??es, apesar de ressaltarem o aspecto formativo integral do aluno, n?o implementam o Programa o relacionando ?s diversas dimens?es da vida do discente.
